Some of the activities are:
Senior Adult MinistryThe Senior Adult Ministry strives at encouraging each elder of the congregation to develop a personal and spiritual relationship with God. It encourages its members to depend on God for direction and guidance, to dedicate all acts and forms of ministry service as a sacrifice unto God. Multimedia MinistryThe Multimedia Ministry oversees the audio and video system in all TBC services and activities. It also coordinates Church radio, video production and the church web presence. Women MinistryThe Women Ministry, with its famous logo WOC WAC (Women of Character, Wisdom, and Conviction), aims at creating a Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth of every woman of the Church in her walk and relationship with the Lord, and emotional growth in her relationship with her husband, her children, and the Christian community. Editing MinistryThe primary goal of the Editing Ministry is to assure that all written, audio, and video materials, produced, distributed or published by the Church, respond to established norms of editing and publishing, for both format and content. The members of this Ministry perform the review, editing, and French or Haitian Creole translation of documents produced by the ministries and the leadership of the Church. They also work on original materials produced by members of the Ministry. Music MinistryThe priority of the Music Ministry is to bring glory to God by giving Him all the praises and honors due His Name. In light of this, the mission of the Ministry is to provide praises to the Lord through the singing and playing of God-centered music. The Ministry has two sections: The Choir and the Praise and Worship Team. Ushering MinistryThe mission of the Ushering Ministry is to facilitate an atmosphere of worship that reflects the holiness and awesome character of God, by inspiring and maintaining an environment of discipline, and by ministering to God’s people. Social Action Ministry The Social Action Ministry (SAM) oversees the organization of all events and activities in the Church. SAM plays a key role in planning and putting together member-wide activities, such as staff fellowship, family outing, Easter services, and TBC Anniversary. In addition, SAM plays a support role in the activities organized by the other ministries, such as couple’s banquet, Youth Ministry Anniversary, Men’s conference, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day celebrations, etc. Men Ministry The mission of the Men Ministry is to disciple men into becoming men of God and go forth to serve Christ as Christian husbands, fathers, and pillars of the Church. Its goal is to provide biblical teaching to men so they can develop godly character, to equip them with biblical instructions so they can lead their family in the Lord, and to encourage them to bind with other men in fellowship and prayer.
Young Adult MinistryThe primary goal of the Young Adult Ministry is to promote the spiritual and personal growth of the young adults of the Church. Most of the members of this Ministry are in a delicate phase in their life, where they have to make crucial decisions about marriage and career. The Ministry aims at helping them keep a biblical perspective while they are pondering those decisions. The Young Adult Ministry organizes regular meetings on Sunday afternoons of each month. They also have an annual retreat and other regular activities. TOM MinistryThe mission of the Outreach and Integration Ministry (TOM) is to develop a welcoming environment for visitors and to facilitate the integration of new members into the Church body. The members of this Ministry make sure that visitors have a positive experience visiting the Church, and help those willing to join the membership go through the process of baptism and membership classes. They also follow up on new members' attendance of discipleship classes. Publishing MinistryThe Publishing Ministry oversees the publishing of all written materials (excerpts, brochures, booklets, books) produced by the church. Some materials, such as the Bible Study excerpts, the Sunday Service brochures, the Sermon outlines, staff meeting agendas, or the Discipleship or post-baptism booklets, are church-wide; others, such as retreat booklet or conference brochures, are ministry-specific. Both types of materials necessitate much reliability and efficiency from the Publishing staff to meet tight deadlines. Members of this Ministry sometimes have to work long hours, even all night, dealing with last minute editing and printing difficulties. Children MinistryThe primary goal of this Ministry is to promote, through age-appropriate Bible teaching and training, the spiritual, emotional, and social growth of children. The Ministry supports and works with parents to create a nurturing environment conducive to spiritual and social development of children. The members of the Ministry pursue the following goals: Lead and guide the children to the Lord Jesus-Christ by: Foster the children’s social development through different activities, such as: Couple MinistryThe spiritual well-being and emotional health of the family depend greatly on the level of the spiritual and emotional maturity of the couple. This simple realization explains the motivation of the Couple Ministry to offer the TBC couples a yearlong calendar filled with events that correspond to their needs for training, relaxation, and intimacy. The annual program of the Ministry features: The Valentine’s Day Banquet. This annual rendezvous of the couples of the congregation, very elegant and romantic, is also one of relaxation and great humor. It is an evening bright with colors and rich in jubilations, livened with songs, poetry, laughter, and skits. The evening usually closes with a remark by one of our Pastors or the guest of honor. The annual retreat or conference. This is another great annual rendezvous where the couples meet to discuss topics pertaining to the everyday marital life and to exchange their ideas and experiences through a biblical perspective. Mini-Lunches on Sundays. This is a joyous and brotherly moment where the Ministry committee, around a meal “agape”, welcomes new couples of the congregation, in order to make better acquaintances. Home visits. The Ministry core members conduct about four of them each month, depending on the needs of the couples. They represent opportunities for the Ministry leaders to spend fellowship and prayer time with couples and to reach out to the new couples and families of the Church.
